Residential
José Galante

Without any attraction or charm, this apartment in São Paulo was bought off-the-plan and did not meet the homeowner’s needs, who wanted an elegantly masculine environment. Touches of black and grey, tones found in the doors, panels, and woodwork in particular, made up the clean and sophisticated décor. Soapstone, cut into strips and used as stacked stone wall cladding, draws attention to the walls and beams in the living room, which serve as a conduit for all the necessary infrastructure, as the ceiling was not lowered.
